Andromeda needs his connection fixed

The shows are great.
The only thing that is bothering me, is that Andromeda's connection is more unstable than a Greek dancer high on meth.
It is such a shame that he sometimes loses his connection.
I know it is a problem with his router, and that he cannot change his router, but man, he should consider getting new ISP.

OR!!! Somebody else should host it, somebody with a decent connection and close to his place.

Hey,

My connection is fine. Seriously. The strange robot voices occurs because my laptop is breaking its back to broadcast and record the show (flash is complete bitch) and run adium at the same time. When I'm trying to do other things, like scroll chat and copy/paste messages the processor gets too streseed.

I don't need my connection fixed - I need a new, more powerful laptop. Feel free to buy me one and we'll call it a donation to the show.

I think your problem is Mac related. :D

It is. Partially.

Flash runs very poorly on OS X. On the other hand, Macs have software like Audiohijack, for which there is literally no Windows equivalent (no, Virtual Audio Cable doesn't match its capabilities.)

So my problem is equally Flash related. Flash has always been a piece of shit - granted it helped to build the media rich internet, but it's long-outstayed its welcome.

I believe Livestream have a native app for streaming, which may not actually require Flash at all, but Livestream limits your viewers to 50 until they verify your account. They denied my application on the grounds that we need to grow our viewerbase (even though I specified we'd instantly have more than 50). Idiots.

Did I read that right? You need to show you have over 50 before you'll be approved to have over 50?

I am sorry TK, :(
It used be your connection that was shit, I may need to rename this topic to, "Andromeda needs a new laptop"
Aren't there any on Livestream you can talk to?
