A few months ago, I saw this very interesting BBC documentary about the history of Islam, mainly focussing on the origin of Islam and the clash with Christianity, culminating in the Crusades. Presenter is the rather goofy London mayor Boris Johnson. It's posted on youtube in 12 parts, have fun.

I'm sure he only described the accounts of the Bible and the Qu'ran, leaving it up to the viewers to make their own conclusions. But I think it's certainly possible that such a relic once did exist, whatever the hell it was.
