I almost exploded with fury when I read the last sentence:

As far as I understand it it's for looking at pages that have been deleted? It's not.

This thread is a fail. It is challenging views of people who believe that, it is not targeting atheists for abuse. There is a possibility that there are people that believe the quote that was mentioned, this is why in the link that you provided, the author included that.

I hope everyone here has the brainpower to realize that this is not at all an insult to atheists, nor is the quote given OP.

So just because they're uninformed it's not an insult? Let's try that logic.

See? Just because the author was an idiot does not make the statement any less offensive. If the author had tried to be nice s/he could have... you know, novel idea and all... checked out what people actually believe instead of putting down an offensive stereotype.
