3D R/C helicopter - my largest project ever. WIP

Hello!

A month ago I decided to make the most detailed model I've ever made. I chose the Raptor 30 V2 R/C helicopter as reference.
Now, I am halfway through the modeling, and I still have to texture it and maybe do some xpresso to animate it when it's done...

I also have a WIP thread on C4Dcafe.com, if anyone have a user over there, they might recognice me by the name "Boheme".

I've made the tail, and added it to the frame. It's looking more and more like a helicopter!

It is very time consuming, yes...
But now, 3 months in the making, I'm done with the modeling! I've started to add textures....

I have been meaning to say that some of the inner bevels could do with tidying up a bit.

I would do an image to show you what I mean but I don't have time right now.

At the very least you should put up video tutorials and try and become a youtube partner.

I know exactly what you mean, but that would take so much work that I won't even start thinking on it.

I tried making some quality tutorials with voice-over and everything, but no. Just no. Too much ridicule from people I know. Combine that with a really low self esteem, what do you get? Bahleeted youtube tutorials!

Here's a little treat for anyone following this thread:



This is the final model, but not final render. People over at the cafe (C4Dcafe.com) has complained about the light setup not being bright enough. I will work on it :)

EDIT: Also, I can't seem to get transparency when rendering out to multipass PSD files, so I can't make a render with the canopy on until I figure out how to fix that little problem.
