35mm Photography

I have been looking at getting a used 35mm SLR since they are freakin dirt cheap. Anyone here still use 35mm cameras or other analog cameras (medium and/or large format)?

35mm's are way cheap compared to a lot of the digital cameras out there. I still use mine.

Hey Tuxbox, exactly what type of slr are you looking into? There are some good quality Nikons that you can find cheap online. The Canon AE1 is a an amateur camera, but I like it to use it for those shots you only have one chance of getting.

I am thinking about getting a Nikon F5 if I can find one in decent condition. I figured I could get the F5 and a 28-300mm VR lens for around the same price as a new Nikon D7000.

I have heard that Fuji Velvia 50 produces better IQ than kodachrome.
