    'Natural Law' or objective morality.

I don't get the concept of scaling morality, or scaling "Natural Law". You could ask what type of natural law are you fallow, like: Hobbes Natural Laws, Consciousness through evolution, Christan natural laws or Islam, etc. I don't think you can scale morality, you fallow subjective morality or...

    "you must never lie"

Lies cover up the truth about something and holds back progress to become better. If you lie to yourself to make your self feel better about something then your not going to solve it if you lie to your self that there is nothing to fix. Lying to citizens makes them more ignorant and more...

    Abortion.

I think the reason that this happens, is because people argue with rational thoughts and reason but at a certian point people care more about beating the other person. they have nothing else to add but don't want to give up on winning the argument rather than working together to solve it.

What is the purpose of our search for purpose?

What I'm stating about the Nazism is that they would be satisfied to have killed off all the Jewish people, would that be the meaning of life for them and is that right, if that part of there meaning towards life? I have said this in my last post, that Democritus, a Greek philosopher stated...

What is the purpose of our search for purpose?

I think this relates close to Democritus thoughts about good, that good is contempt and happiness. But i always wonder if everyone's contempt and everyone happiness is a good thing. People feel happy killing people, that's a good thing? But i guess i can argue happiness as a whole in a society...

What is the purpose of our search for purpose?

Even if it is meaningless, we can say that we tried to search for the meaning. Even if it is meaningless, doesn't mean we can't still be shaped and moved to be better people by it. Socrates said that it's not what you know, it's how much you know. The more we know the better, so i guess it's a...

    Material vs immaterial: The soul

I believe that materials make up the soul, and how that person conducts an action or an action come on to him then it changes his/her materials in the brain that make them behave differently and creates a judgment or decision that effects materials in the brain and indirectly to other people.

    Abortion.

Abortion is not a religious question nor a science question, it's a human value question. The argument should be about the values of human life even before and a person right to choice for them selves since they are the only one's know what there going through.

    UN's Anti-Blasphemy Resoultion

Muslim states are pushing for an act in the UN for an anti-blasphemy resolution that all partner countries must adopt. Making any criticism or marks on religion is a criminal law. This is a violation of Human Rights of Freedom of Speech and the Freedom of Belief, Thoughts and Expressions. I...

    Abortion.

I believe that it's a choice weather or not to have an abortion. But i think that it must be approved by a doctor and a psychologist plus the males should have a say in the decision since it takes two people to have a child and what if the male wants the child? A male is denied right to the...

Stalin was an atheist and a bad man so atheism is bad?

Stalin and Pol Pot did bad things because of there political ideals not there atheist ideals Hitler wasn't an atheist, why would an atheist have a personal pope? and give power to churches and kick out Humanist and Freethinking groups out of German?

    Blood donations

I believe that people who don't give blood that is not infected are selfish in the ways that they will not give blood to save another being in which needs it, that the giver doesn't need the amount to give. The feeling of saving a life is humble but being saved by blood is grateful. Good things...

The mind is only an illusion

Know thyself, you assume everything that you see because you don't know that it exists for sure. Are your thoughts a product of the environment or is your environment the product of your thoughts?, i think that's a question of weather your mind is an illusion or not too.

    How much surveillance is okay?

People are not afraid of camera because they think there innocent but because they think there guilty.

    What is morality?

I think the biggest problem with knowledge and science in North America as i see it is the growing counter knowledge that is complete nonsense. Knowledge can educate people but it can also make people ignorant because people could believe in something that is true to a point then believe in...

    Death Penalty

I think, not just that innocent civilians could be killed due to mistrial or faulty evidence but also i think there is set of forgiveness of a person that has done a crime and they know realize the crime in which they have committed. There was no mention of what the death penalty is for...

    'Natural Law' or objective morality.

For someone deny that there can be an objective morality has to explain "group think" which is related to what i said in post in which i wrote a lot. I said that the people make the values of the society making them the valuer. When the people think that there morals are not set in there society...
