What's the concenous on TheAmazingAtheist on these boards

I'm just interested.

My view is I like him, he can be a bit of a jerk sometimes and I don't always agree, but he's entertaining, as well as being good at making videos, and has some really good videos that make good points.

I unsubbed after the so called "Elevator gate" He can have interesting opinions, but he's more of a societal sceptic, his channel rarely has much to do with Theism or atheism, Though it would be interesting to see him debate someone as obnoxious as him (Shockofgod maybe?), I have no quarrels with him but am not particularly interested in him either.

He sounds like he's talking common sense only when he's talking what is obviously common sense, the same would be be true of a yogurt. Other than that, he's just a loud, oft tactless Internet noise. Nothing special, and not someone I'd want to sit next to on a train.

He's an idiot with even more idiotic friends. I remember that episode on blogTV, where one of his friends cut himself or something. What a douche. And whatever you say, your choice of friends says a lot about you.
He made one more or less funny video, something about cereal... not sure what it was, I forget the crap he does.

Don't like him, I think he's an unintelligent doofus. And that's putting it mildly.

I know people who like him, but he's not my style. A bit too abrasive, I feel.
I can sort of see why people like him, in the same way people can enjoy really loudmouth comedians who can't get by on wit alone.
Plus it might very well be a cultural gap.

Oh and, as I didn't see anyone make the point yet: there's generally not one consensus amongst us I, for one, am perfectly happy with people that do like his style. I think I generally find him more objectionable than his fans.

I've been unimpressed with him. Watched a few of his videos years ago, but never subbed, he was kind of...brazenly vulgar, uncomfortably so. And not like I'm uncomfortable with vulgarity, but like he was doing it for its own sake. Not to prove a point, or emphasize one, but just cussing fucking incessantly for no reason. Didn't realize he was supposed to be funny. I guess that's the Dane Cook school of humor.

Some of my friends who are, not necessarily religious but do believe in a god of some kind, found me very odd when I said I didn't believe in anything resembling a god. It caused one of them to rush to youtube and send me people with the question "is this like you?"

One of those was the amazing atheist. I watched up till about the 1 and a half minute mark before having to induce a brain enema.

His voice, persona and lexicon are painful.
