Anyways to all if an intruder came into your home how would you react?



My mom would call 911 I think. Me I think I would call 911 as well.

I dunno. I think I'd be forced quickly into confrontation, without much choice. My apartment isn't exactly big.

I think I may have mentioned this before, but...

A number of years ago, a neighbour of ours was listening to music through headphones whilst sitting in his living-room one Sunday when two men walked into the room from the rear of his apartment.

The three of them stopped, and stared at each other, then the older of the two intruders said, "We'll be leaving now". The two men then went to his front door and left, closing the door behind him. The neighbour was still in such shock that he sat there for a minute before getting up, going to the front door, and going outside to see where they'd gone - they'd disappeared, presumably ran for it.

He went back inside to the back of the apartment, and discovered that they'd removed the metal grille on the outside of the window, and cut a hole in the glass to open the window, which is how they'd gotten in.

Here's the thing though: the neighbour was a black belt in karate.

He probably thought he would be able to defend himself.

It shows that. no matter how you think you'll react, when the time comes, you'll do something you didn't expect to do.

In this house, I wouldn't bat an eyelid - there are always strange people walking into my house.

Oh easy. If greater than 21 ft (at end of hallway) issue warning at gun point. If less than 21 ft shoot him. This assumes breaking and entering. Completely legal here.
