What strategy can be used to counter this?

It should be pretty apparent by now the votebots are real, how would one go about countering this menace?

It looks to me YT is not making any progress in this issue. Has anyone got any indication otherwise?

I'm gonna endorse the burn your stars strategy, j/k. By the way, I lost track of that video, anyone know whose it was?

Apparently you can get statistics on who is rating your videos, but that might be only on partner channels, anyway if you can get that stat, it becomes easier to determine and prove who is using a vote bot. Some interesting ideas for user tools have popped up, like restore points on your channel, but until they become something you-tube implements they are just ideas.

Unfortunately it seems the only option available is the re-rating campaigns.
