What are you playing right now?

Forgive me if a similar thread exists, but I didnt see one.

Just re-bought Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. Better than the first iteration of #2 graphically (only slightly but the little things I remember bugging me, like the Marine Colonel's hand when he saluted, are fixed) and plus loads of specials, like skateboarding on the big shell.

Also I just finished MGS3, getting all cammo and kerotans ^.^ Going for a no-kill next time I get the urge.

I just abandoned my attempt to try the Battlefield 3 Beta. Looks like it can only be downloaded through the EA spyware installer. Won't put that on my system.

Ah well.

Just bought Might and Magic Clash of Heroes, which looks like a lot of fun. I love tactics games, and Might and Magic has always done well in my book. So going to install that on my laptop and jump into it tonight.

Other than that, been playing Prototype and Rift.

But I play a lot of games. I'll dedicate a couple hours to one here and then move on to another, and come back later and continue. It's...sort of erratic I suppose.

Duke Nukem Forever, followed by the Gears of War trilogy all in a go, and that should put me up to Batman: Arkham City on the 18th.

I play the same way, anytime I start a game session I just have a pile of discs or cartridges that I cycle through. However, once I find one that catches my fancy, I can play it for hours at a time and many days in a row.

Anyway, ADD came into play and now im playing Mercenaries 2. Its fun, I got it for the ps2, but after playing the ps3 version its just hard to appreciate. +1 for the forces trying to get me to buy a new system.

I am playing Batman Arkham City for the past 3 days like crazy. I am such a big fan of Batman and playing the game is just surreal. It is very tricky though, and it would be advisable to check walkthroughs out to guide you, if you do not want failing and trying again and again. But when I get tired, I just pop my trusty F1 2011 game and attach the racing wheel, and I am good to go.

I'm playing through Portal 2, after recently completing Portal 1.
The Co-op mode is a lot of fun.

I've been playing for a solid week. What's fun is that there are enough side quests and alternate game modes that when you get frustrated on one section you can go do something else for a few hours.

Yet another reason why the development team of GTAIII should get a Nobel Prize in Video Games for the perfection of the Sandbox game. Also, there should be a Nobel Prize category for Video Games.

Currently Im building the crap out of some cities with Sim City: Societies. Crappy SC game, yes, but when its all you have besides a SC2000 for the GBA, it does the job.

Minecraft, although not constantly as it was just some weeks ago. :)

Also found a fun little game on Steam called "Orcs Must Die" which I'm enjoying quite a bit.

Arkham City as well, but the damned exclusive skins pissed me off. I'm going to wait for a "complete" release of the game.

Not me... gotta get started early in order to get done with the year-long achievement quest.

Recently, I have acquired a copy of Ico, and have been swearing at the screen in frustration as well as ever. Makes me wallow in the absence of the third installment, the release of which will probably be the day I actually buy a PS3. Its a very good game, and for a blue-bottom disc the graphics are awesome.

Also prying my mind from productivity:

Lord of the Rings Online
Pokemon Black
FFIII DS
Pokemon Stadium (64)

Star Wars: the Old Republic MMO.
And fuck me, it's addictive :S But fun ;)

That's one of the first new games in a long while that's piqued my interest (Old Republic), and while you're not my type, I can absolutely imagine how addicted I would become to a new MMO. On a related note, I heard SW Galaxies was shutting down for good some time this year, I'm guessing because of this new one here.

Still plugging away at LotRO myself, hence my absence. Acquired some new content (Moria!), started a new class, so my work is cut out for me for the next year or so :D.

Just got "Assassins Creed: Revelations" and a friend of mine gave me "The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings". Both are pretty rad, but WT2AoK is damn hard, not from the fighting aspect but from figuring out the riddles and such. It's not a simple "go there, do this" but rather "find where there is, go there, find out what you have to do and then do it". ACR is, while pretty fun, just a continuation of ACB and as such there's a lot of "been there, done that, oh new item, seen that, oh new weapon, same move as always, oh new people". I'm also not at the point yet where the storyline advances by much, it's still all in the middle ages, but what about the "now"?
