Salutations,
I've been here since about August. I was drawn in with the Bob/AronRa debate, and have only recently started posting actively. I may not be able to add too much in terms of science, but I'm a student of history and a bit of wordsmith.
I'm currently a student in a Michigan college, studying for Economics/Journalism with a leaning towards investigative journalism in the business sector. I've written a couple of articles that have been published in my school paper, and will probably pimp them out if I get the go ahead. My most recent one covered the 100 year anniversary of the unveiling of Piltdown Man. I got to sit down with Prof. Milford H. Wolpoff at the University of Michigan which was an awesome experience.
I also served almost 6 years in the USMC, and am a sergeant in the Individual (or inactive) Ready Reserve. I was in the Airwing and know a few things about FA-18s. I also have a fairly strong BS detector from dealing with junior Marines for so long.
Oh yeah, I'm also a vocal atheist after being brought up catholic. I lost my religion when I was 15 or so, so it's been a minute.
