For a change, here's a new video by Thunderf00t that everyone should be able to enjoy.

Better than his previous ten or so videos, but his ten-min rant on how the Bible tells people to slaughter children was... quite chilling and sobering. I felt a little sick, I have to admit.

Greetings,

Interesting video - and certainly better than his recent ones.

Inferno, Thunderf00t only "rants" for about three minutes - from around 9 mins in where William Lane Craig appears - and it's not really a rant, so much as a reconstruction of how he thinks the thought processes of the over-religious work when they're contemplating killing innocents, including children.

Kindest regards,

James

That is a great video. I wish he would make more like this. If he did, I would still be subscribed to him.

ROFL! The first part of this video is probably one of the most funniest things I've ever seen in a WDPLAC video. This is exactly the kind of shit that makes me unable to take religion seriously.

Of course, I expect the apologists to come out with yet another rationalization and they'll always say "magic did it"!

Entertaining as it may be to hear TF pick apart the outlandish physics involved in the miracle of stopping the Earth/Sun, I don't really think the argument itself has much worth in terms of convincing any theists of the folly of the Bible.

Simply because stopping the Earth/Sun is entirely miraculous, and the subsequent need to suspend natural laws in order to avoid certain unfortunate consequences (such as people flying off the Earth, or people being crushed into it), would be "just" another miracle.

The real zingers in the WDPLAC series are where a Creationist proposes natural occurrences that explain a young Earth, such as when VFX tried to argue how the flood (while miraculous in origin had natural consequences - that is, consequences that were not guided by God) could have carved the Grand Canyon in 5 minutes.

The latter makes for a great debunking video, the former not so much in my view, although still fairly entertaining.

If you try to use these numbers and visual against a creationist, chances are they'll adopt some of it and just go "You thought god was amazing when he stopped the earth? Well wait until I tell you how amazing he REALLY is..."

Dem biblical glasses filter out reality real good.

A refreshing change in the latter TF-videos.
