Usergroup for Passed Members

Hi, people.

The recent(ish) news of Rhysz made me wonder:
What would you guys think of a new usergroup to place the accounts of those members we know to have passed away (so long as it's no trouble)?

I had thought about a sub-forum to post tributes in but I don't think that would work - certainly wouldn't be a happy place to go.

I was just thinking that if someone goes back to read some old posts or the first few pages of epic-threads and see marker or colour indicating that the user is no longer amongst us, it may give the reader a chance to appreciate them a little.

Ah, sorry, never saw this.

I'd say the idea is good in theory, but... and this may sound strange, but I think I'd vote against this idea on the basis that I would be hoping that it wouldn't really be necessary - at least for decades to come.

WilliamCardno posted a few times too. I'm not sure a separate user group is something I'd vote for, just seems a little morbid to me.

Perhaps a page titled 'In Memoriam' could be set up? Perhaps as a sub page on the members list?

I think this would work better because if a user does unfortunately pass away, and they only posted a long time ago, changing their account would remain largely unseen by most people. However a list commemorating them would be accessible all the time.

Edit: And the list could be open for comments so users could share their memories and such
