TMnations forever help.

I need help with Trackmania nations forever. When I play it, the screen freezes but the sound continues. After freezing, I still here things like the car crashing in the wall so I would say it is not a game play issue. This happens in the single player and multi player so it does not seem to be a connection issue. This is the first time I see this problem and I have been playing it before without problems on the same laptop so it is not compatibility issues. I have not found anything on-line so I hope that someone here could help me.

That is not the problem. The game worked fine before with the same drivers. It just spontaneously happened.

I thought so once too. I was wrong.

I also once had audio drivers cause a game's framerate to be about 3 fps, despite the audio playing perfectly smoothly.
