The Reptilian Eyes!

Now there are many vids on the tube that do the whole Reptilian eyes malarkey and I was wondering, has anyone made an attempt to replicate the effect? You know, replicate the lightings and camera quality to get an equivalent effect.

It's pretty easy to replicate yourself, just try to recreate the conditions many politicians and news correspondents are subject to when they stand in front of a camera. They are well lit from multiple light sources with one large firgure (the camera, cameraman, and/or teleprompter) sitting directly in front of them. The eye reflects all this light except for that which is blocked by the cameraman. This leaves a "dark" area right in front of the pupil, while the rest of the eye is illuminated. Couple this with poor video quality and it will easily convince someone who wants to believe in a reptile alien conspiracy.
