I don't know how I have missed this before, but there is a Youtube channel that follows the events of The Great War (World War 1) in real time -100 years. As in this week they'll take a look at events of the first week on June 1917. I've binged through the first few months in the last few days. It has a weekly update on the events of the war and also specials on the relevant subjects. So if you are a history/war buff you can probably overtake the series before the war ends.
