So I’ve been diving into tabletop gaming lately, BattleTech in particular. I’ve got it going with a physical board and pieces with my immediate family, but I’ve also been playing it online via a little application on Steam called Tabletop Simulator.
Of course, while I primarily use it to play tabletop BattleTech over the internet with friends who are interested in learning it, there are multitudes of other tabletop games one can play on it, both through DLC and as mods downloaded via the Steam Workshop. I doubt there exists a Workshop mod for every single tabletop game in existence, but there is a lot of them, both well-known and obscure.
It’s for this reason that I ask here, for those of you who enjoy tabletop games but have no one to play them with due to the pandemic, if maybe we could bring some of our favorite games to the digitized table, sit down, and play from time to time.
