Ill just say this: I have played rummy so much that I actually ended a game on my first turn. Not by any skill, but the odds of that happening were lowered to 1:1, or something really high, through the sheer number of games I have played.

I was in jail for quite a period of time once and rummy was one of the few games that we were allowed, spades being another. We were so good that we had a fives second play or forfeit turn rule. I got so good that I made many dozens of games in a row with every deal both winning and sending the opposition into the red. I really miss that...

It is a lot of fun, I miss it too because my usual crew has dispersed and my play time has drastically dropped. The last time we were all together we could only find 50 cards :cry:
