This appears to be much ado about nothing. The Church of England is a church, of course they are going to ask people to pray. Why would anyone be offended by that? Why should the church have to defend what they said? What would have been newsworthy is if the Church of England said they wished Dawkins had died, so he would burn in hell for being an infidel.

Honestly, e-drama like this is the main reason why I do not have twitter and see no point in it.
