Okay so in the last round 3 contenders all lost with 1 vote each respectively leaving only 2 contenders:

Andrew Wakefield

Nominated by Rando

I know how low brow it is to pick an obvious candidate but I nominate Andrew Wakefield. He is directing a "documentary" based on his lies, and it is going to get a dvd release. I think he's relevant because it's 2016 and he is still peddling his lies to anyone who will listen and judging by it's viewer count it is getting attention.

The "Health Ranger" is bad but he is merely a carrier of the disease of ignorance, Wakefield is patient zero. This disease has a body count, Wakefield's crap is killing people and he doesn't care so long as he keeps making money and getting press.

And

Boris Johnson

For me it has to be Boris Johnson for reasons that I mentioned in the last round:

Let's face it these are the only circumstances in which I would vote for that buffoon.

So he banged the drum about Brexit for months, convincing people that leaving the EU would somehow make Britain great again (there seems to be a bit of a theme with that lately) and then he stepped back from the ensuing leadership race that most of us thought was a incredibly stupid and dangerous proxy for a Tory leadership contest. But no, Boris was content to set fire to the ship and duck out. Only for us to find out that Theresa May has got him in as fucking Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs! The man who said the following:

Brexit was a complete fucking disaster. All of the major campaign promises were broken within the next morning. We are now subject to a coup of the extreme right of the Tory party and we're going to suffer for it, in very real ways that affect our day to day lives in the UK.

Undoubtedly Wakefield is an arse and has demonstrably worsened the humanity for years, however Boris had helped fuck the country for generations, so him.

How is this even a contest? You have one guy that is a more sane Trump vs someone that is directly related to the deaths of thousands of people.

Because Boris has fucked an entire country. Not even a courtesy spit.

Last I checked the British people voted for it, thus if the country is fucked, it seems to be because of its own people. Boris could only spout nonsense. Just like in the U.S. Come November, when Trump becomes the next leader of the free world, it is not Trump fucking us, it is ourselves.

By that reasoning the people affected by Wakefield's advice were so because of the actions of people who aren't Wakefield. If a parent decided not to vaccinate then it's ultimately the parents choice.

Yes, 52% of those that voted voted to leave the EU, but based on misinformation told by figureheads like Boris. If Wakefield is culpable in the rise of diseases preventable through vaccination by diseminating lies, so is Boris when it comes to any fallout out from the country leaving the EU.

Touché.

So we have a winner! Andrew Wakefield is Quack of the Year 2016!

How shall we present him with his award?

Two questions:

1. Where does he live?

2. How much do bricks cost these days?

Well, Europe hasn't "Brexited" yet, still a part of the EU, and Wakefield is the cause of preventable diseases spreading that can kill.

Wakefield has my vote.

Greetings,

I was thinking of something more on the lines of "LoRaduck" - a play on "Crocaduck".

Kindest regards,

James
