Police and or censorship.

This video really boosted my love for police. It is quite a good example of how those in power will abuse it and refuse to investigate themselves. I thought it might provide for some interesting conversation

This might be boring for some or most people, but I am just trying to make some new and original threads...

Jeeeeeeesus, axe the cop.

No amount of commendations will ever be able to one-up the asshattery of the handling of that call.

The chief almost seem incompetent at the latter part of the video. He should have immediately agreed that he should either be suspended or fired. Instead, he stumbled and almost dodged the questions saying 'he'd loose time.' Fucking hell...

It gives a little insight on how the police operate and label people... Profiling... Kind of reminds me of Chappelle talking about the dispatch looking for a black male between the height of 5'5" and 6'8", or whatever... Hah...

That is just disgusting. Recently my father had a few falls and I can tell you its terrifying. In my case he made the poor choice of downing his meds with vodka so I didn't have to call 911 but I was really tempted to.

Typically 911 calls are handled by trained dispatchers, not police officers. This is a good clue that people trained in one thing should be put into another. Hanging up on her because she was stressed and cussing was stupid, insensitive and uncalled for. Imagine if he had just ignored the profanities and calmly asked what was going on... gee... none of what followed would have happened!

Fucker should be fired if not I hope she sues his ass off.

Think about it. If the seizure had been bad enough that man could have died. It just not a matter of her overreacting. If things had gone slightly worse then I have no doubt he would be fired.

Not your finest moment? You probably haven't had a WORSE moment than this one! Had the guy never heard an agitated person on the phone before? You'd be a bit angry too if your father was possibly dying on the floor and the only people that can help you keep yelling and hanging up on you. And then he was acting like it was her that hung up on him >< He needs to be taken off the force, no question. Lets hope this guy never works on the suicide hotline. I hope she makes a ton of his money off of that because she deserves it.

There is no question that the officer was wrong, I won't deny that.

However before we start to demand is head on a silver platter, I would like to know a little more about what happened. Cause it seems very abnormal that an officer who apperantly has a clean record would act like that.

That being said, put yourselfs in his shoes for a minute... a fair percentage of the calls for 911 are prank calls. When you pick up and the first thing you ear is a loud fuck!!! does it not sound a lot like a prank as oposed to a genuine call? - Keep in mind that he unlike us did not have the hole story...

Despite all, police officers are humans who make mistakes and on top of that have a very stressing job. Also like it has been mentioned did this officer had proper training to handle 911 calls? If not why was he there?

I don't need to know any more. he should be taken to court for criminal negligence, lose his job, and if convicted spend some time in jail. I don't feel the need to pretend that cops should get a free ride when they so very obviously fuck up ... why do you?

Most places, if you call 9-11 and hang up, they come out to your house to make sure things are ok. They sure as hell don't ever hang up on you. Plus, really... this cop can't handle the word "fuck" to the point that he becomes incapable of doing his job? Really? What a fucking pussy! What if her father had died, would he have blamed her for having the nerve to be upset when she called for help?

People are likely to overreact in the stress of a situation like that. That officer should've understood that, and not be so nitpicky about her swearing. Plus, he was rude to her himself! What an ass!

It comes down to proper training, but as evident, the officer in question is too closed minded for the job. Period.

Yeah... it was pretty impressive how she used the word "fuck" as an expletive, a meaningless filler word for emphasis. He, on the other hand, aimed insults at her instead of asking her what the problem was. When she came down to the police station, that should have been a clue that she wasn't pranking him. When he arrested her, it was clear that he's a fucking moron who has no place among civilized human beings.

If the first thing I heard was a distressed "fuck" when I answered a 911 call, I would be more inclined to take the call seriously.

arg-fallbackName="Aught3"/>
Yeah, calm down it's only a 911 call; couldn't be anything that serious.
