It was just over three years ago that the forum had the pleasure of taking the claims and arguments from a youtuber known as 'TrueEmpiricism' (TE for short). Thanks Aron btw.
Found here http://www.theleagueofreason.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11731

At that time there was quite the dog pile as everyone had pointed out the same mistakes he made over and over only to be met with ... complete ignorance to all rebuttals in the form of claims of "I've already explained that", "this is off-topic", and then nothing. TE would pop by now and then and post odd video links (once to revise a huge error in his understanding of binary) only to be reminded that he never did finish his arguments for Intelligent Design (did he even present any?). There was several attempts to ask for TE to define/refine his works/ideas/arguments in some greater detail and hold you hats Ladies and Gents... ...here it is three years in the making... ..been waiting so long for this... :D ....BEHOLD http://truetalk.freetzi.com/

Now I doubt anyone cares about this site or TE's arguments but I thought it would be worth a post to bring closure with this guy.

Looks like someone took a high school HTML class in 1994.

Indeed.

Why is that all these Creationist/Conspiracy theory-types seem to be using the same damn low-tech webpage build?

I was gonna say I remember making pages that looked like that at school in 1998.

I had a read of some of the sight content. It's like someone wrote a program to search creationist posts from this website for certain terms and then pick random paragraphs from those posts to populate pages with the title of the search term. Nothing resembling a coherent argument.

Just having the whole site re-direct to the Discovery Institute homepage would be more compelling.

I recommend for the truly masochistic to actually read his 'True Talk'. Here's a few good ones.

The problem obviously is the assertion of "speciation" is a subjectively determined issue. The fact that they have only thus far been observed interbreeding among each other does NOT mean that other species of finches will not or cannot interbreed sometime in the future. It could simply come down to lack of interest do to different behavior patterns not that they are unable to mix and produce fertile offspring . Even when the declared label of "speciation" occurs among scientists incipient species are not always agreed upon.

One can imagine for example that because cars, trucks and skatboards have similarities that they evolved do to an unguided process of evoluton, by aligning the simplest to the most complex in structure, but this form of pattern seeking only repeats the claim and the story line behind the claim without ever meeting the burden of proof.

I suggest a balsamic vinaigrette to go with this heap of word salad.

I'd like to point out that I didn't say they did well in said class. Just that they took it.

The look of the site would indicate the lack of intelligent design.

Oh, I am well aware of this site.

You missed the best one.

TrueEmpiricism[/url]"]So don't allow yourself to be bombarded by semantically subjective determined nonsense used to obscure this crucial problem of evolution. Also don't allow evolutionists to speak to you with big words (they more then likely don't understand) hoping to make their faith sound better

I especially like the Views Counter. I clicked on the 'HOME' link repeatedly and shot the count up 50 +. No wonder it has 40k views if that's how it works.

I don't want to assume correlation implies causality but I wonder if the new exposure is related?

Not that I'm saying it didn't happen but I can't see why anyone would bother to hack it.

In the above video, he found one person that said he could hack his site. Couple that with the fact that TrueEmpiricism has not made many friends in the [sarcasm]Great Debate Community[/sarcasm] on YouTube, and it seems obvious to me that he would get hacked.

However, I do not believe for a second that the grammatical and spelling mistakes were done by hackers. That was all his failings.

I can't believe anyone cares enough to screw with him. His chances of getting anything done if someone does mess with it are slim to none. The only thing that might happen is he gives a lawyer a lot of money for no particular reason. The authorities will just laugh at him for not taking basic security measures.
