Logic vs Religion tattoo

I am currently designing a new tattoo for myself and was wondering if anyone knew of a recognizable symbol or logo for atheism or science aside from the red letter A used during the Atheists Coming Out event months ago. So far I've got a brain with a catholic style cross stabbed through it, with the areas of the brain touching the cross beginning to decompose. I was hoping to find a logo or symbol to work into the sulci of the brain but am having no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thus far I've only managed to tattoo my body with slime covered tentacles, so my creative side has a fairly "disgusting" slant.

Eventually I plan to have one of the tentacles crushing a cross, but that's more anti-theistic (anti-christian specifically) than atheist.

Seeing as I'm going to try working it into the sulci I've got a feeling that the Atom symbol will actually fit well, I'm just not sure if it's got the right visual recognition to go with it, or if anyone will even realize it's there. I've been toying around with the idea of having the decay form a biohazard symbol eminating from the center of the cross but haven't really decided anything solid yet. I was also hoping to have the phrase 'Cogito, ergo deus non est' or 'I think, therefor I am dangerous' bannered around it but later had it pointed out to me that in context with the rest of the image it would imply the cross represents the dangerous thinkers, rather than just the dangerous. A phrase along the lines of 'Religion rots the mind' would be best but alas I do not know latin well enough to actually formulate that sentence.

My Latin sucks but I think something like 'mens puter' gets across the concept of a rotten mind. No idea what religion would be though, it might be difficult to translate that idea.

So now I feel kind of stupid, 'religio' means the awe/fear of god and can also refer to the religious practice as a whole.

The sentence would be something like: 'religio putritus mens'. Not too sure about making puter a verb but it gives you an idea of what the words would look like. Definitely recommending to get it checked with a Latin expert before getting the tattoo.

Scalyblue, Sparky, I think those ideas are well enough for a tattoo as is.

They're great but I don't know if they'd portray the right message, and like the Dawkins Foundations 'A', I'm not sure the unicorn symbol is recognizable enough, despite being one of my favorites.

I was really hoping for someone with a background in Latin to comment lol. I've used the online translators to come up with several variations of the phrase, the problem lies with actually knowing if it is correct, i.e. grammar, word form, etc.

I'm fond of the greek letter Phi Φ, which is used as a symbol for a number of things.

Another idea is to stylize some logical symbols:

I'm a fan of being positive over negative - rather than logic vs religion why not just express logic?
