@ldmitruk posted this video a while back. I have to say I like how Dilahunty thinks and I think this video demostrates a logical progression of reasoning which I think involves some of the most important and overlooked aspects of God and Christianity. Hopefully I will be able to have time soon to comment more on this video. But I thought it was good enough for this video to have its own thread anyway in case anyone missed it. Thank you Idmitruk for posting this.

So right at the beginning Dilahunty states that if there is a God then "IT" should reveal "Itself" to him and that "It" should know exactly how to change Dilahunty's mind. I think it sounds a little odd for him to refer to God as an "IT". It sounds a bit forced and is obviously different than how most people speak when in refference to God. But anyway..Later in video Dilahunty sorta hints that only a Just God, Justice being a virtue, is worth honoring. Which is something I can agree with.

So my thoughts on this so far is that this is a pleasantly thoughtout argument that Dilahunty uses as a facade. He knows that a God of Justice, rather then forcing people to change their minds, would present to us a world where we are able to desern good and evil and choose for ourselves. Matt Dilahunty has chosen for himself. Just like we all have. That is Just.

IT is a good in this case because if God exist then you would not know if its female or male. Also by definition God would be an alien.

The IT would be good to use because we assume God has an gender, because its an alien life-form you can’t go by our definition of gender.
