League of reason TV just about atheism?

All the shows this far have had the topic atheism vs. religion. And i must say I don't like the idéa of Leaue og reason becoming just another meaninless youtube atheist show, rather than of reason generally. There ARE countless other eaven MORE interesting topics!

What is the leagues opinion?

Well I'm not involved in any way whatsoever with the show's organisation, but I imagine in the future there'll be one with a topic related more to pseudoscience and the like or some such topic. It seems to me that there's a fair amount of interest in that.

Well, this Sunday c0nc0rdance will be on the panel, and he has made many videos about alternative medicine, AIDS denialists etc. Hopefully they will talk about those things.
It would also be a good idea to get greenman3610 as a guest panelist some time, to talk about the so called global warming "skeptics".

Well I made a suggestion a while back for having a show on the demarcation between science and non-science, it didn't go anywhere. AW does as AW does.

What is the leagues opinion?

Broadly speaking, LoR is dominated by members of the 'YouTube Atheist Community' and since there still continues to be a growing phenomenon on YouTube, I thought it would be an interesting topic for discussion with DAA, TWAT and ab86. The shows which invite questions are technically open to anything, but as it stands many people want to ask Q's about science or religion, or try to prove a point.

I would love to talk about other topics in future, and broaden the scope to include all kinds of pseudo-science. I'm thrilled that c0nc0rdance is happy to be a panelist, because he's a great guru when it comes to pharmacology and similar topics. Climate Change with Greenman is also a great suggestion. In the future I'd really like to be able to commit more time to organising the topics, but at the moment it's not too easy. Going to have to put it down as a work in progress.

I'm terribly sorry for letting this one slip my mind. I did read it, and I like it a lot. It ties into pseudo-science nicely and it would probably spark quite a bit of disagreement between the more regular panelists, which is always fun.

From now on, all promos will be going up on the LoRTV account, and won't be particularly flashy. Just text slides I imagine, stating the topic, panel, times etc. It might be best to just state the topic, whether the other guys agree with it or not and see what happens.

It would also be cool to have a thread in the forums for suggesting and voting on topics - let the members decide what they want to hear about, and who they want to appear (if the person is willing).
