Kyle Rittenhouse (Shooter):

"Rittenhouse is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree attempted intentional homicide and two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, as well as misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon under the age of 18 and a noncriminal violation of failure to comply with an emergency order. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges."

Joseph Rosenbaum (Man shot first in the head):

"one witness said Rosenbaum cursed and lunged for the defendant's rifle before he fired and another witness said Rosenbaum had threatened to kill both Rittenhouse and him earlier in the night."

"Lackowski also said Rosenbaum was using "the N-word" while asking people to shoot him,"

"Rosenbaum's fiancee testified that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which prosecutors could use to argue that he was the aggressor in the encounter and to question his mental stability."

"McGinniss, who re-enacted the scene, crouching and lunging forward with both arms from the stand, said it appeared that Rosenbaum "was grabbing for the front portion" of Rittenhouse's weapon before the teen shot him four times."

"McGinnis said Rosenbaum and Rittenhouse were still "extremely close" to each other and it was not clear to him "what would have happened if those shots hadn’t been fired.""
"Rosenbaum was acting in a "violent" manner that night, throwing rocks and trying to set fires."

"Balch said that in one earlier encounter, Rosenbaum threatened to kill him and Rittenhouse "if he caught them alone.""

"He had spent most of his adult life in prison for sexual conduct with children when he was 18 and struggled with bipolar disorder. That day, Aug. 25, Rosenbaum was discharged from a Milwaukee hospital following his second suicide attempt in as many months and dumped on the streets of Kenosha."

Anthony Huber (Skateboard Man):

"According to a criminal complaint, Huber reached for the suspect's gun with his hand while holding the skateboard in the other. As Huber tried to grab the gun, the suspect pointed it at his body and fired one round, the complaint says. Huber was seen staggering away and then fell to the ground. He died from his gunshot wound, according to the complaint."

Gaige Grosskreutz (Man Shot in Arm):

"arrested for prowling behind the West Allis Police Department a few days before the shooting"

"He was convicted of a criminal misdemeanor in 2016 for going armed with a firearm while intoxicated."

Dominick Black (Buying firearm with Kyle's money):

"faces two felony counts of intentionally giving a dangerous weapon to a minor, causing death, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kenosha County Circuit Court. If he's found guilty, he faces up to 6 years in prison per count."

"Black told authorities that over the summer he received money for the Smith & Wesson M&P 15 rifle from Rittenhouse, his friend, who was too young to have legally purchased the weapon himself."

Appears Kyle will be fully acquitted 0 charges stuck.

Rittenhouse is gonna get convicted and will be sentenced to 5-10 years. He showed up to a riot, with a weapon he was not legally allowed to own, after a state imposed curfew and ended up shooting 4 people. Killing 2 of them.

I dont think he should have been prosecuted in the first place, but you are living in a fantasy land if you think hes going to just walk free on this one. Remember, he's not a cop.

False. You don't understand a thing about U.S. law. and you also have no clue about the facts of the case.

1) He was allowed to own said firearm. Look up the state of Wisconsin definition of possession of "dangerous weapon" in the statute. Federal law does NOT prohibit ownership of firearms via age. He can legally own it federally prohibits PURCHASE and TRANSFER of firearm at an FFL not possession of firearm.

2) He wasn't the only one that violated curfew.

3) He shot 3 people not 4 - killed 2.

4) In all three instances those persons were committing a forcible felony against Kyle. You can LEGALLY use lethal force in order to prevent or halt a commission of such a crime.

He also didn't break any laws according to the information I have. The curfew charge already has been dropped in trial. The Prosecution rested 5 days and half into the trial when the trial is supposed to be 2 weeks long. They gave up when one of the witnesses stated that Kyle shot him when he pointed his gun at him that sunk the prosecution. Kyle is in training to be a LEO.

My mistake. I was lied to by a television. Should have known better.

Looks like the prosecuter is democrate. Ran and failed to be district attorney or something like that. He acts like a bitch.

Looks like the state dropped a couple charges against Gaige Grosskreutz just a few days before his testimony. But of course, this is not common to have charges dropped against to you if you testify for the state. Should be illegal though..

I don't understand what people are supposed to do when the pigs won't help people who are getting attacked or getting their buildings burned down. Aren't there special laws for these types of situations in the US?

The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that police have NO DUTY to protect an individual. The right to bear arms or an individual is expected to protect themselves. There is NO legal culpability of police to protect an individual person from harm. In other words a cop can choose not to help and as a result someone get wounded and the police responding and choosing not to help would not be held legally responsible.

The whole reason Kyle was needed was because the idiots in charge of Kenosha ordered police as a whole not to intervene and just let leftists destroy/steal property.

Kyle was the natural result of police and government failing or rather government ordering the police to fail.

Had a feeling there might be a thread about this one. I watched the verdict live last night (my time) - it's super rare for me to catch anything important on a live broadcast. A bunch of us were discussing it at the time, so far all I've heard is cheer.

Yes truthfully this shouldn't even been taken to trial. It was 100% about political posturing.

Can you use lethal force against someone presenting at MINIMUM threat of serious bodily harm against you or someone else?

Overwhelmingly YES in the vast majority of locales in the U.S.. Case closed.

Did Rosenbaum threaten Kyle with a minimum or serious bodily harm? Yup.

At first I thought Kyle might get his with possession but that was me being lazy and not reading through 4 paragraphs of the statute.

The amount of misinformation is telling considering the signs they are holding is a Socialist backed group.

I think the human race is in a rapid mental health decline. The world is in danger right now.

I would have to suggest it is the constant state of being irritated while in a conventional urban setting. Traffic, status and noises from traffic and construction, dealing with crime, putting up with job related stress, putting up with other people's stress when you interact them in performance of your job etc etc.

Also it is funny that the Rittenhouse riots aren't continuing after the case that acquitted Kyle was made public all of a sudden most of the rioters last time don't want to riot. Kind of odd how threat of serious bodily harm and/or death calms criminal action down a bit.
