I still do not understand why he can post outside of a quarantined thread like before.

Well if its his last warning then he will get a week ban so he can reflect on his mistakes. When he continues then its a permanent ban. I did some research and he is kicked out by many all ready. I want a quiet website and do not want to police all day long most people here know how to behave.

In the before times, he was quarantined to his own thread. That way, he could keep posting, and people could engage with him if they liked, but he was unable to pollute existing threads and start new threads saying the same thing.

It is obvious. Like most reality deniers, he thinks being banned is a badge of honor. That is why quarantining him to his own thread is a much better and appropriate action. What he wants is not what he deserves.

I know that we can lock him in his own thread but that add-on costs money (not really a problem) but the developer how wrote it is a problem (not a very good developer (understatement)). Also my problem is paying money for one person who can’t behave the admins/moderators have the power to delete or give him a time out so he can adjust his behavior. The ban button is included in the software and is easy to use.

I really do not care if you are an Atheist or someone that worships God. The problem we have is that you can only copy paste from your site.and mostly out of context what is being talked about or your post seems right but then the next goes in the deep end again. Also i don't want Google to hit us for duplicate content with your copy and pasting all the time.

That all said if you continue like you did with copy pasting and trolling three options will remain. I can lock you inside a forum where you only be allowed to post all other forums will be excluded for you. You will only get others in our forum when they feel like dealing with you, also this forum will be excluded from indexing so no one will know what you wrote external and internal. Second option is global ignore no one will ever see your posts again its also called shadow banning. Third option is permanently banning you and a little birdie told me this would not be the first time that this happend to you.

Like i said i really do not care if you are Atheist or believe in God.

I know but i rather warn an extra time then to straight out take measures against him. I don't have time to police around i have other responsibilities beyond this website. I love option one and two i gave him but you can understand that option three is the best option.

In common with (probably) most people here, I don't particularly care what you believe since you're not in a position of power so you believing silly nonsense is highly unlikely to affect my life. Would I prefer if you didn't believe silly nonsense? I suppose so, but only because that would benefit you, I wouldn't stand to gain from it.

You know why you were suspended, you know exactly why. All you've been asked to do from a moderation point of view is stop with the excessive copy/pasting. That's really it. But you already knew that. I mean, sure, it would be nice if you'd stop lying too, but I think it's clear to most that that isn't going to happen. It's frequently easier to eat a bucket of water with a fork than it is to get fundamentalist creationists to stop bullshitting.

Go on then - I'll pretend that you're being honest rather than, as well we know, being your typical manipulative self.

There are a number of problems with you copying & pasting from your vanity forum.

The first is when you dump massive tracts of text into random threads without even remotely considering the discussions taking place and whether the wall of text you're dumping is actually relevant to the discussion.

The Gish gallop is a term for an eristic technique in which a debater attempts to overwhelm an opponent by excessive number of arguments, without regard for the accuracy or strength of those arguments.

This very thread provides a perfect example in your original post. You dump a list of topics with ZERO argument, ZERO context, ZERO work on your part, but you frame it as if other people are somehow obliged to spend time, energy and intellectual effort explaining each point to your satisfaction - it's not a discussion, it's a performance, a sham, it's masturbation - do it in the privacy of your own home if you have to, but not in public thanks all the same.

If you took a single example, expanded on that single example by constructing an actual coherent argument, and provided some actual support for your position rather than simply tossing out a title then you'd be doing your part of the discussion. If you can't be bothered investing any energy then why should anyone else be bothered to spend their time, particularly as they'd have to even go to the lengths of deciphering what your argument is meant to be given that you simply tossed out some titles. If you lack the ability to do your part in the discussion, then you're genetically undermining your own hostile argumentation, and the proper address to people who might know more than you is at least a modicum of fucking humility.

The third problem is that the bodies of text from your vanity forum are replete with quote-mined sentences & paragraphs you've trawled the net for over the years. This is only perceivable in terms of bad faith argumentation. You know perfectly fucking well that an evolutionary biologist is not making an argument against evolutionary biology, so snipping something out of context - a context which means they're expounding on a specific situation or circumstance - is flat out dishonest. If you act dishonestly, why should people lend you the benefit of the doubt and just assume you're honest? And if you don't show you're honest, then why should people take the time to engage with that dishonesty?

The final problem is that all your 'arguments' amount to you expressing incredulity.

If you want agreement, then I think we can all agree that you are incredulous, but that doesn't mean your argument is logically sound or valid. Your credulity is not a yardstick by which we all must view the world. There are numerous topics I cannot understand and am surprised at the discussions taking place - specifically in physics - but that doesn't mean I feel obliged to reject those topics just because of my own limitation regarding the expertise involved. I am aware that I lack the requisite knowledge, and that my lay person perspective makes my opinion worth a little less than a wet wank. Similarly, just because you don't understand Biology, that doesn't mean your ignorance justifies arguments from incredulity. When faced with an expert topic you lack the knowledge in, the proper approach is to learn from those who do know, not act like a child trying to lash out at things you don't understand. On this point, I know from your long track record that you will never accept that this is true, but it most certainly is. You haven't spent years learning Biology and evolution to understand the problems and address them with knowledge; you've instead spent years trying not to understand Biology and evolution through arguing with the above 'techniques' with those you consider your ideological enemies. It's time to grow up Otangelo. It's long past time.
