God missed me!

Well last week my Evangelical Mom told me that the reason I was robbed of my wallet and watch was because of my recent decision to become an atheist....
Of course I didn't believe that hokus pokus but it was rather revealing....anyhoo I was happy to call my folks yesterday and announce that God must have missed me with his next thunderbolt of Justice because I was called back to a job that I had been laid off from two years ago,with the extra 15k a year.TAKE THAT VENGEFUL YAHWEH! lol
On another note.One of my Mom's oldest friends (and a family friend) died the other day from a long battle with cancer.I was horrified to hear that in the days leading up to her death my mother spent the last few hours with her friend badgering her to accept Christ instead of reminiscing... religion robs us of so much.

Just goes to show that stuff just happens, lol. It's a pity that your mother's friend spent the last minutes of her life being preached at. When I die, I want it to quick and painless, so that I don't have people pestering me about beings who sound ridiculous even when your brain is slowly being drained of oxygen and that way no one can claim I had a deathbed conversion.
