God did it = I dont know?

Inst saying "god did it" equal to "I dont know"?
I mean exaclty, 100% the same.
Isnt it like saying I dont know therefore I know?
And wouldnt that make every single theist a hypocrite?
For example: "the bible says god did it"
isnt that equal to "the bible says it dont know".
I mean it was impossible for these people to know
so they simply changed i dont know into god did it.
And how about creationism doesnt that equal to
god did it/I dont know either?
Even if I realy see an animal appearing right in front of me.
Still, saying "god did it" just means:
"I dont know where this animal came from".
Same of course counts for the word soul
everything humas couldnt explain like memories, consciousness, emotions
was related to the word soul and where did the soul came from?
They didnt know...oops... I mean of course god made it.

Maybe some of these people who claim to have personal relationship
with god realy heard some voices.
But isnt saying god talked to me equal to i dont know where
these voices came from and wouldnt it be honest to admit that?
Especially when there could be a reasonable explanation for that.

There is only one single question that can not be answered that
way: "who did god?" and even here they dont admit that they
dont know. But say "he is eternal he doesnt need a to be created"
in other words it can not be answered.

I dont think there is any shame in saying you dont know when
you realy dont know but saying you know every time you dont
know is dishonest and stupid.
So my questions are: Isnt the atheistic world view the only honest
one? and do you think there is any way were "god did it" is an
actual explanation or is the entire idea of a god only a word
to fill the gaps in your knowledge?

p.s.: I know my english is poor

Yes, "God did it" really means "I don't know what did it, but I'm too proud/delusional to admit it."

You have probably seen this one.

I would say for the majority, no. "God did it" means just that. I've noticed myself making a disastrous mistake debating creationists and theists. I often assume they can understand how very weak their argument is. They cannot; or rather, they cannot without going through the steps most of us have.

The "God did it" answers do imply that the speaker has not seriously considered the whole result of such reasoning, but he/she is not admitting they don't know. In contrast, I know evolution happened, and I know it was the result of natural selection on tiny segments of DNA and RNA. Yet my confidence pales to the absolute surety of a theist in the statement "God did it." Such arrogance admits nothing. No, "God did it" is not to be taken as a sly euphemism for "I don't know." They don't only KNOW this to be true, they KNOW this to be true more than any truth you or I can ever hope to embrace.

Dogma's a bitch.

You mean they think they know.

From a practical standpoint, the two are identical... although "I don't know" is more honest. King of NH is mostly right, except that believers FEEL that they are right, and they mistakenly believe that feeling is a way of knowing things.

More specifically, a person saying "Goddidit", is not really saying that he doesn't know, he is indicating it.

He he, I saw the title of this topic and thought "Hmmm, I'd better go and link to my Thing That Made The Things video", but alas.....
Thanks for that! It's great to know I'm involved in debates even when I'm sleeping.

If only I could repay you for all the laughs you've given me. BTW, have you seen the "God Man" comics? I think you would like them.
