Hello, everyone. As you have no doubt inferred, I'm new here, so I thought posting here might be a good way to get started! I started losing my faith when I was about 16 (I'm 22 now), but I'm still working through all the details. The universe is a big place, and the more I learn, the more I have to rethink beliefs I didn't even know I had! So I'm not sure I'll ever consider myself done 'losing my faith' lol.
I recently graduated from college and am trying to get a 'real job' lol. I spend most of my free time reading. Non-fiction, mostly, with philosophy being a good chunk, but I also dabble elsewhere. E.g. I just finished the magnificent 'Why Nations Fail' by Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson. Good stuff!
Having been raised in a heavily Christian family and social environment, I haven't had the pleasure of knowing a lot of other secular-minded individuals, but I look forward to chatting with all of you. Treat me well
