So i have 2 questions

1. How do i shrink a picture to the size I want so that It fits in the little avitar box on the left over there?
a. it tells me my file is too big. ( it's direcly from my digital camera, so wth how do i change it?)
b. From myspace it says i dont have the right link (wth its the link that myspace says to use for URLs)

2. How do i create a link to a third party website that just says "here" or click on "this" and that is the actual link?

Finally, I tried praying for help and God just struck me with lightning, so I asked satan and he told me the wrong way to do it (seeing as he's the Prince of Lairs or whatever). So, i've really tried to figure out how to do this

Thanks.

In order to shrink the picture you're going to need image manipulation software. If you don't have any installed The Gimp is a good free alternative.

You can upload the picture to imageshack and use it from there. I think the avatar pic can even be loaded from your computer - not 100% sure though (Oh Sporky!)

If you like you can pm me and I'll do the shrinking for you.

1. Yeah unfortunately you do have to resize the picture before uploading it. As Aught3 suggested, The Gimp will do the trick. It is a limitation of the forum software that it doesn't resize the picture for you but it's probably like that for a reason (large images can take a while to upload for instance). Regardless of whether you provide a link or upload the image directly, the image ends up on the server as the forum software will download the image from wherever it is hosted.

2. To create a link like this you need to use the tag... so it would be [url=urlhere]text

If you have any trouble reply and I'll help :)
