1) Security lockdown system salesman puts in stainless steel barricades to protect against a night where all crime is legal yet fails to have a garage when he lives in a mansion.
2) Knowing of such a night living especially in the U.S. he doesn't have any training for his family with firearms when regularly people have their children armed and know how to use firearms.
3) Genius security man chooses a 5 shot .44 magnum double action revolver instead of say an AR-15 or even anything else semi automatic that would be infinitely better in every way.
4) Doesn't invest in some type of body armor again considering an ANNUAL night where anybody can do anything to you legally.
5) Security system dork has no medical supplies such as TQs, compression bandages, chest seals, splints, hemostatic agent or basic first aid tools.
6) I didn't catch anyone else using body armor when it is so easy to get an affordable in real life here (slash/spike/ballistic) not even hockey pads when so many people are using edged weapons.
7) Later on they finally do get semi auto handguns even though genius father gives the kid his .44 mag when 2 shots remain and no reload was shown.
8) The enemies that confront genius security salesman are so grossly incompetent that literally give him so many free shots you'd think going on a violent rampage wouldn't make you so damn stupid.
9) I will remove 1 sin for genius shooting corpses to confirm them dead.
10) Dual wielding - ugh.
11) Allowing someone to restrain you while promising to kill you is utterly retarded and frankly I don't understand why they didn't choose to fight immediately upon hearing this.
12) Sparing a very clear enemy just to let them have another chance at you during the next purge is also utterly retarded.
13) I wonder what the annual cost of a purge would be movie states it is to get rid of the people that can't afford to defend themselves yet rich people do die and I wonder if the homicide rates would be overall larger during 1 night compared to the rest of the year even though the movie states a massive reduction in crime overall.
14) They could've made the movie so much better if they ended it with the most likely means to kill someone in a barricaded home - arson.
15) I think I'll binge watch some more.

I've only seen the first one, I remember I enjoyed it at the time, but I'd probably have to watch it again to respond to any of this. Also, I don't think it was made with attention to detail and realistic perspective entirely in mind :)

"The Purge: Anarchy" - ugh.
1) Flamethrowers are used which are class 4 weapons meaning if the government found out you used such things they could prosecute you even under the rules of the purge yet the when this comes up next now all of sudden weapons used are illegal.
2) Characters are somehow getting fully automatic weapons but yet they can't get suppressors, rifle plate, basic first aid, 3a helmets, load bearing equipment (in order to have more than 1 magazine or even a reload very silly considering how many shots are fired.), rifle rating shields.
3) 7.62x51nato even if not using armor piercing rounds would totally result in the end of the movie when it was first used.
4) The armory this is being used is only pistol rated when everyone apparently has access to machine guns which is utterly retarded.
5) In the scene where the "rescued" characters are shooting Kriss Vectors and aiming down at someone the sights aren't even deployed (BUIS).
6) Main character's krinkov rifle has 1913 rails yet no flashlight or reason to have them.
7) 1 sin removed for using HK USP. 1 sin added for using a Ruger GP 100 series revolver.
8) It seems like NO ONE uses holsters.
9) The prospect of making money during the purge is interesting this theme is made throughout the 1st and this movie but the auction house is way over the top.
10) The constant purge prayer seems like a jab at the constitution and is getting old. No one prays or utters a prayer over the second amendment of the freedom of speech.
11) There are a few scenes of guns being chambered for the first time but ironically it shows that the person directing the scenes have no idea how to load guns.
12) Haha nightvision goggles are literally snowboarding goggles with lights in them.
13) Ugh more double barrels did Joe Biden write this shit?
14) Someone says they are out of ammo but the action isn't locked back which happens after you fire your last round in that gun.
15) 1 sin removed for using dodge charger.
16) Legitimate flashbangs are class 4 weapons but you can get civilian legal flashbangs that are composed of cardboard and have a reduced effect.
17) Again the theme of characters leaving other characters alive when they have proven themselves a threat is utterly retarded especially when it would be entirely legal to execute them.
18) What is with Ruger Gp 100s and the connection to the government? What is this shit?

"The Purge: Election Year" - Ugh
1) More over the top acting which I have no idea how the actors got through without pissing themselves but most of it is decent given the plot.
2) Yay people are actually using holsters.
3) Yay people are actually using more common forms of body armor.
4) Yay people are actually using load bearing equipment.
5) The hooker looking kid threatening a shop for a candy bar and then sitting in plain view waiting to be shot is utterly retarded and I wouldn't have any qualms in killing all three under the circumstances.
6) Sub narrative of the senator saying the NRA is going to be making all of the money from the sales related to purge is ridiculous. The profit from firearms sales goes to FFLs not the NRA.
7) So mercs that are after the senator have access to a literal gunship yet they cannot afford plate carriers for some reason they deem 3a pistol protection helmets over level 4 threat plates on the torso.
8) "Tracing bullet" LOL
9) For some reason mercs are apart of the KKK and are white supremacists why? Oh I get why subplot with revenge against white supremacists by the bloods/crips. Cringe.
10) What is with the Kriss vector and the connection to the U.S. government? That is a South African arm and only have descretionary use in police departments and not in wide spread use like Mp5s, Mp7s, Mp9s, PS90s etc.
11) Secret service are again using Vectors instead of P90s and five sevens.
12) Rebel forces attacking the new founding fathers communion room don't again use a flash bang when being outnumbered would almost mandate the use of explosives like flashbangs to help even the odds.

Never seen the Purge the storyline is not something I’m interested in.

It brings up a number of questions that are interesting I assume to a bunch of people like to think about given the number of movies made and even a TV series.

"The First Purge" - Ugh
1) Feels exactly as described by Rick during interdimensional cable of the movie about "two brothers" that a whole bunch of random stuff happens to.
2) Characters are one dimensional and it is the same tired backstories for each.
3) Same continual problems plaguing the previous movies people have literal machineguns but somehow cannot obtain rifle rated armor or even lvl 3a.
4) The only new aspect is glowing eyes due to the camera technology the test run scientists give to the participants. It does add a cool evilness factor but not much else.
5) The previous plot about the government needing the purge in order for an economic justification is something different but kind of annoying and not well explored. Such as the overall damage to properties supposedly being reclaimed for the wealthy to purchase after something like a gun battle where explosives are used especially considering the scale is really silly.
6) Again the purge rules are continually violated regarding to "class 4 weapons" as flamethrowers and grenades of various types are used.
7) Weird continuity problems such as one of main character getting cut deeply yet no medical attention is needed and somehow isn't a problem later when it makes him unable to walk. He miraculously gets better without reason.
8) The plot of generating funds but construction the plot of the purge is funny considering the funds used in order to pay for the system the USSF employs not to mention implicating the U.S. government when armed drones are used when supposedly the government is supposed to have no involvement with the purge ironically after distributing recording devices on a wide scale that are literally contact lenses on top of conventional recording devices such as smart phones.
9) C4 being shot in order to detonate - HA!
10) Cheesy gun cocking sounds.
11) Dual wielding Draco/Rak47 pistols - LOL.
12) All of these movies come off as highly preachy to boot.

"The Forever Purge" - Ugh
1) This shit is written by AOC or some such.
2) Its basically:

3) Hardly anybody is using radios or forms of communication that would be beneficial.
4) Cringy psycho scenes.
5) Seems like this whole time the NSSA is being portrayed as the Republican Party and the those not in favor of the purge are the Democratic party.
6) Unrealistic damage like getting hit in the torso with a sledge hammer at full swing while standing on the ground and surviving.
7) Hilarious moment where one character kicks a pistol out from underneath someone's grasp while bending over with a Rifle slung within their reach.
8) Corny preachy racial points made etc.
9) Hilarious bunch of bikers trying to stop a semi truck.
10) In one instance one of the handguns being used is clearly out of battery (incapable of firing) and yet still fires.
11) The vision of the U.S. military in the middle of the street is pathetic considering they didn't see armed purgers in the street well within 25 yards.
12) Half way mark in the film I have only seen 1 reload.
13) While moving through the city everyone with a weapon gets instantly popped by main characters yet as soon as they meet people willing to take hostages somehow they don't do this simply out of habit and necessity.
14) RPGs are launched which are not anti personal they are anti armor and yet they create huge explosions which is not how RPG or AT warheads operate.
15) It is funny that the purgers say only "full blooded Americans" may be left alive. American is nationality not a race.
16) Ugh it literally comes down to a bunch of Indians with bows and arrows against people with literal machine guns and somehow they win for some type of stereotypical leftist bent argument that minorities in movies should always win regardless of reality or logistics.
17) Last round of ammunition doesn't refer to the last magazine it literally refers to 1 unspent shot.
18) Tie dynamite to the end of an arrow and instantly you have laser guided 25mm fragmenting shells with proximity fusing.
19) When a fully automatic firearm is empty you don't get multiple clicks. If the first time a round isn't detonated there isn't anything to recock the action in order for another striker or hammer to fall in order to create said clicking noise.
20) Somehow a person is stabbed through rifle rated plate with a hay hoe.
