Anyone else playing this? I've got the PC version. Despite the loony conspiracy plot line, it's really good. Stylistically, it takes some cues from blade runner. Cyberpunk, shooter, RPG elements are a very satisfying combination.

I'm not convinced that I'm interested, because of the RPG elements. Can I just shoot things?

That's where the RPG elements come in. Based on your preference you can either build up a guy who eats bullets like they're snacks and just blow shit up, or build up a guy who sneaks around and haxorz his way to his objective. Granted, that you start off with minimal ability, so if you wanna kill people you should probably do it stealthily for the first couple of missions.

Chances are that if you dug Mass Effect and/or Fallout 3, you'll dig this game. I'm not a traditional RPG guy myself, but action RPG games really have me hooked recently.

Side note: I hadn't realized how much our avatars resemble one another for completely different reasons.

pre-ordered it and started playing it the day it came out on steam :) Loving it. Big fan of the original game :)

I just got it on Friday. The original was one of my favourite ever games, and so far this one is shaping up to be a very worthy prequel.
