Rather than the usual feeble attempts that most christians I have met seem to make at providing 'evidence', this one didn't even try. He even went as far as to say that evidence was irrelevant and wrong. WTF? (P.S.: This marked my 10th debate overall 8). I'm a newbie.)
Christian: When was the Bible proven false and evolution proven true?? Got it backwards, buddy!!
Me: Lets try the industrial revolution, when moths changed colour to match the trees which were covered in sut. Or the 1970's with the flavobacterium sub species observed to develop an enzyme which allowed them to digest nylon ( a manmade material, so could not have been there before). And, of course just in recent years with the lemur like creaturre's fossil being uncovered. I believe that this in paticular allows us to trace our ancestry back over 4 million years...
It of course means that there was no Adam & Eve, no Eve eating the forbidden fruit, so humans should still be in the garden of eden. As we are clearly not, the rest of the bible doesn't make any sense as it relys on this piece of information being true. How could Jesus come down to save us from sin if we have no knowladge of what sin is, for example?
Thus, the bible is untrue.
Christian: That proved absolutely nothing. Adam and Eve were our first parents. Jesus died on the cross of Calvary because of our sinful. God the Father knew we couldn't do it on our own. Besides, how do you think we got here?? Not from monkeys my friend!! Better get a grip on what's truly real before it's too late!! And once again, no proof on the industrial revolutiion!!

M: Firstly, I have read the bible. Multiple times. And the first time I was simply curious about what it had to offer. Then I started seeing what it truely was.
Secondly, WTF are you on about saying that "scientific evidence is fallibe at best"???!!!! I suppose that when SCIENTISTS like Pasteur and List were being fallible when they used scientific evidence. All the data that allows us to launch sattelites is scientific evidence. The very materials used to make the computer were made for maximum performance and durability using data and scientific evidence.
To be honest I think you're masquerading, if you're a real creationist/christian whatever, you are the most misinformed, arrogant or ignorant in this world. You haven't even tried to explain WHY scientific evidence is fallible, nor why the Bible is without a doubt true. Don't bother commenting back unless you are prepared to do so... as it were, save your breath for your inflatab;e wife!

The Bible on the other hand is true and has been proven true over and over again. The only one truly masquerading and misinformed is yourself!! Although it seems you're just too arrogant to admit it. But may I ask when the bible was proven true? The only way to do so is to gather scientific evidence, which you have already said is fallible.

In fact, there is nothing to say it has been proved in your messages other thasn the line: "The Bible on the other hand is true and has been proven true over and over again". Faith cannot be proven. I can have faith that a pen is both of my parents, and it is from mars, but that doesn't make it true. I have faith that I did reasonably well in my exams, that does not make it true. Or can you make things true with the power of your mind alone? That would be pretty cool.

Adam and Eve walked and talked with God as well as Moses, Aaron, Paul, etc..Very well documented by those prophets who were there at the time the Bible was written. I know one thing for sure; we will learn the truth of all things- either in this life or especially in the life to come.

*Sigh* in the time you've been talking to me, you could have at least set off to do something helpful to people who actually need it. I have no interest in what you have to say anymore, unless you can put forward an actual argument. You have proved nothing, and ignored all proof set before you.You tell me to have faith, without examining both sides of the argument with an open mind (another thing you tell me to do). Go and help out at a homeless shelter. Maybe you can convince one of them, as it is clear I never will unless you present me with scientific evidence that can be confirmed.
