Christmas shopping

So, we're close to Christmas and I was thinking of asking for an investment of 50€ for my Steam account. Mom said, 50€'s the max for this year. Which is normal. Besides, crisis.

Anyways, I was looking at the best, new ,or best selling games on Steam... and I don't find anything that looks good to me besides AC Revelations. And Revelations is, for now, my only want-to-buy-game.

So, any ideas besides Revelations? I was thinking of Far Cry 3, but I'd only pay for multiplayer... single player games I can get through my... resources. *cough*

And the multiplayer in Revelations looks epic.

Also, what's on YOUR Christmas gaming shopping list this year?

Cheers!

Might I suggest some indie games? There are some great ones out there, in some cases packaged.

Here are some of the ones on my account that I highly recommend:
VVVVVV (one of my all time favorite games, actually, open world platformer)
Cthulhu Saves the World (Phantasy Star esque RPG)
Breath of Death VII (you can get this and Cthulhu Saves the World packaged right now) (Breath of Fire-esque RPG)
Eufloria (node-attack RTS like Mushroom Wars)
World of Goo (hard to explain...physics bridge building game?)
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale (comedic jrpg, very fun, pokes fun at standard RPGs)
Chantelise (RPG sequal to Recettear, same world, different characters and concept)
Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes (Very fun TBS, similar to Disgaea or FF Tactics)
Magicka is an interesting and fun multiplayer game

Those are all fairly cheap games, and this time of year they tend to go on sale regularly. I bought Cthulhu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII for $1.25 combined. Recettear I paid $4 for. VVVVVV was on sale for $1.25 recently also. All worth checking out I think. Of major studio games I've been enjoying Modern Warfare 3 recently, and Portal 2 is amazing.
