Not sure if it falls under this category but I made a dicebag from chainmail. Here are some pics.

Its not that difficult to make. Maybe I should put a tutorial together when I have some time.

I suppose you start with one ring to rule them all and suspend it, then add some to form a circly patch, keep adding in >1:1 ratio until you get to as large a diameter as desired and then continue working down 1:1 until you reach the desired depth, where you just grab the leather band and put it through the last row?

I did it the other way around. I did a 4 in 1 stitch until i had a cylinder of the desired height and diameter and then closed it with a 4 in 1 stitch with the occasional 6 in 1. I also made the diameter a little smaller and then I put 2 rings in the top rings and weaved the leather strap through that.

Oh, that makes sense. That way (if i understood it right) you immediately get the diameter you want. My solution would favour symmetry before utility, haha.

Nope for d20 systems. I rarely play those anymore. But I am in a GURPS campaign which is nice.

Thats pretty sweet. I use an old liqueor bottle holder, and while its cool and all (gold silk baby), I now see a fail of imagination whenever I look at it.
