We were having a discussion in chat and I got banned. I find this unbelievable and reprehensible.

Reetoric, I'm truly shocked you would resort to such blatent censorship. I had answered multiple questions of yours (though not to your satisfaction, apparently) and asked you a few. You answered none of my questions, called me evasive though I answered at least 5 questions. I then went to re-establish my point from first sections to see where we agreed. Then you said I hadn't answered any of your questions yet, and I said that was a lie. So you banned me.

What a childish thing to do. I thought this board was established as a way to limit and fight back against ridiculousness like that. Shameful. I'll probably get fully banned for this now.

As a Sidenote, I understood when users that were purposefully subverting conversations and trolling were banned, but this is just sad and scary.

I'm sorry this happened, I know I was there when it happened but I was not informed that a ban was placed on you and certainly didn't see anything that merited a ban. The ban is no longer in effect as it expired shortly after it was placed. At the moment the chat doesn't announce when someone has been banned so I simply assumed you had left the chat.

This will have to be looked into.

Thanks, I guess I shouldn't have been silly and assumed I might get fully banned for this post. Just was a bit outraged about it. I know that you guys are not about that in general. Have a good one.

Yeah, I'm a little disenchanted myself.

But mostly in regard to the whole DMCA abuse channel, namely Donexodus. He's now removing comments and not allowing video responses to certain videos. Of course he's a theological evolutionist, but oh people are in love with him because he makes such good evolution videos.

And then there is of course the issue of Shanedk being an ADMITTED censor on these forums, and then asking people to help him overcome censorship challenges facing his channel, and of course, cult of personality trumps all and most abide to help the admitted censor.

I'm starting to find that the defacto youtube atheist leadership oligarchy isn't that much concerned with censorship, but with creationist censorship specifically. Of course, not everyone is like this, but when you have well reputed members practicing censorship, and then the followers looking the other way on it... well it's enough to seriously cool my enthusiasm towards the "movement".

I know absolutely nothing about what happened with you Ozy, but I'm sad to say that I'm not at all surprised because I've already seen it happening in other ways.
