Hello (again) to the League of Reason

some months ago I entered the realm of the essential God-question through the 'gate of drama' and still haven't figured out why it sucked me in quite broadly and so continuously.

Being brought up as catholic I left the church already some decades ago and found a lot of peace of mind studying (and practicing a while) Buddhism. I still appreciate it much for various reasons, but also dropped it as alternative for a lost belief.

I'm quite fine with 'All is ONE' and find it repeatedly consistent likewise usefull foundation.

Now life has swilled me onto your board and I took the chance
I hope that I can find some anwers for subconscious questions that seemingly nag at me and share some reasonable thoughts with you.

~ I was playing with the saying 'um die Wurst streiten'*, associated by the back & forth movement that's within 'share & receive', while recalling that all too often big arguments may only circle an easy solvable issue ...

AH, that explains it. We in Austria would never fight over a sausage... we'd simply go to the "Würstlstand" and buy a new one! We're not as stingy as the Germans.
In all seriousness, I've never heard that saying and apparently neither has Google. So I think my confusion is acceptable.

That's doubtless a wise solution
... though it makes me wonder how to convey it onto an argument.

I too tried to find that saying digitalized confirmed, but also couldn't. Maybe it's 'only' something regional I grew up with, which I can't resolve ad hoc - so sorry I assumed it was widely common.
