Science. Atheists embrace it. Christianity denies it to varying degrees.
But Atheists are largely missing what Christianity offers.
Practicing Pretend.
Christianity already does it, but dishonestly.
Jesus' blood saves on Sunday, but you still gotta pay the bills on Monday.
Christianity asserts Jesus will take care of your bills. Jesus will light the path. Uh. For the. Uh. True believer. And. Of course. The Lord UH LOVES tithes.
Dollars speak louder than words, after all.
Contempt for the ritual of gathering and being together and believing something silly is where atheists have misplaced disdain. Practicing Pretend, being deliberately delusional for set times is liberating. Atheists do this by suspending disbelief and getting lost in art. But being in that community, having a group to be able to signal you're a part of; like wearing a cross or colander is a part of being a human being so many lack.
So if you can understand this share your thoughts. Let's change the world.
