Just a stupid comment from one of the christians running for election
Christian students feel like they can't speak their mind in class, said Viktor Choban, a student council member who is running for re-election as part of Popko's slate. He said he is tired of professors' support for feminism and science teachers whose tests ask how old the Earth is.

"It depends on your religion," said Choban, 25. "I would say 6,000 years based on my religion. The evolutionists would say 2 million years."
Ah, no. The age of the Earth does not depend on your religion. How many mistakes can you pack into one answer? He can't even fake intelligence by giving the correct age of the Earth, and what religion to evolutionists have anyway?

It makes my brain hurt trying to understand how these people have any influence at all. Let alone get anything they spew out of their mouths get published in any way, shape or form.

Update on the elections - bigoted christians were voted out by apathetic students!
Apparently only 9% of the student body turned out to vote even though extra-credit was offered by some of the professors. Actually, 9% is a pretty good turn out for these kinds of elections.

The ARC Students for Liberty slate lost 14 of 17 seats to the ARC Students for Change. Even after going dirty by accusing the now president, David Fisher, of drink driving. Most surprising was the gracious defeat interview given by the outsted president George "Yuriy" Popko.
George Popko said:
The administration and faculty have conspired to remove us from office since they don't approve of the image of ARC as having a conservative student body
On second thoughts, his comment's not very surprising at all.
