Saw Alice in Wonderland tonight in 3D IMAX... All I can say is WOW :shock: Took me right back to my childhood. The characters are all so perfect and the 3D really helped bring the strange world to life. Highly recommended

I don't care about the 3D effects that much, Alice In Wonderland is probably my favourite book, and Tim Barton is also one of my favourite directors, so how was the film itself?

The movie was really good. Visually amazing. The person that played Alice was perfect as were all of the characters (only one exception that I can think of). Well worth watching on the big screen. Great date movie.

Possible spoiler:
I just found out that the movie is a bit of a mashup between Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Despite its deviation from the original, it was appropriately justified and IMO suits the bizarre nature of Dogson's dreamworlds where anything and everything is possible.

From what I heard (haven't seen it yet) the graphics were unbelievable, and the story left you as chicken without a head, running around in circles until you give up trying to understand it and die (painfully).
