a limerick

Heaven in Disguise

Nevaeh came to meet the boy
Whom life was passing by
She said that he should live his life and
Not sit home and cry.
"for I am but a sinner ,and have no wish to fry ,
I must confess my daily sins ;my lusts;my curses;my lies"

This said the boy ,with all belief and so he lived his life.
Till one day in his middle age while talking to his wife,
Nevaeh came and asked again "why not give up this strife?"
"one thousand years of singing praises" came the mans reply
And off he strode confident that fate was on his side.

The trolly bus that struck him
was unconcerned that he had died
he never grasped what Nevaeh said"¦
Heaven is your life.

The way a limerick should go
It's only one verse
And not the converse
Else the damn thing just won't flow

AND an english graduate

This is possibly the first time my degree has had some kind of real-life application.

Also, everybody should be a musician.
