I remember his last forum, I was a regular on it. The discussions I had on it were quite interesting, but I just can't deal with the standard christian censorship. I think his parents shut it down the last time lol.
I've recently been having a debate on a forum in which I'd be considered one of the "regs". These discussions rarely go on on this forum (which I think is for the better), but when one does come up I can't help but get involved when someone posts something that I find to be in error. Anyway...
The fighting in Northern Ireland is all about politics rather than religion. Even if it was about religion, the absence of it wouldn't stop the fighting. If you have groups of people who are different in some way/rival each other then there will always be friction.
I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. Making sturdy structures for shelter, transportation, world trade enabling us to get food/water to anywhere on the planet. These are all recent things in evolutionary terms and have a huge impact on how natural selection affects us.
I don't think humans will change too much in the future. Back when we first developed into the Homo Sapiens we are today, only the fittest could tolerate the harsh elements and produce offspring. We're far too domesticated now and instead of needing to adapt to the environment, we modern humans...
I love the part around the 22 minute mark where Nolan asks Richard (the 2nd caller) if the church changes with the times too much, would it lose the essence of christianity. Lol yes it will, it has so much already, and as it continues to do so it will lose all influence eventually. Good stuff.
