From a skeptical point of view, ignorance is just as a good a position as any other. You can still ask the proponent of a certain belief to present evidence or construct arguments for their claims.
Good thing or bad, it's here to stay. Communicating anonymously keeps getting easier and easier, and any attempts to control, restrict or censor it are becoming increasingly futile, besides being an infringement on our privacy and freedom of information.
As much as I dislike the EDL, these kinds of virtual attacks are infringing their freedom of speech. Then again, this is what Anonymous does, so meh. I would have thought, however, that most people would be more outraged by the actual murder than by a bunch of people shouting hateful slogans.
