When you care about people being treated as equals, regardless of skin-color.... some things you make it really hard.
I'm no expert on the social behaviour of people in the united states, and I'm willing to give the benefit of doubt when they say that black people are not being treated as...
My position on the death penalty, is that it is to be considered a final remedy. Since it's one that it non-reversible, it's one that has to be one that one doesn't deal out hastily.
I'm sure there are cases where I agree that the death penalty is just, and other cases where it is not.
As a...
Here is another reason for being anti-charity:
The amount given to the charity vs the amount spend.
There are a lot of money to goes to a charity, but how much is actually spend on what it lobbying for.
For example:
you give 100 dollars for a charity that would help provide water purification...
There is a reason why i said "crime", not "murder".
You can commit other crimes, and plenty of it, that can be far worse then murder.
but paying for a crime is, by punishment (taking away their freedom) and by paying back to society.
But what if it is impossible to pay back to what society is...
Not sure if they are indeed the hardest, but here is my attempt to answer them... not just 3.
they will probably give me an F... but hell...
1. Gender is a social construct, based on the biological sexe.
2. yes, it has a legitimate role, though i question if it is a productive one.
3. No.
4...
how would a death penalty fit in a judicial system, where people after they paid for their crime, will return to society?
Then obviously, the only good reason for a death penalty is when it is proven impossible to return that said person to society.
But...
what would "impossible to return to...
Another one of them?
Aron must be like honey, cause he attracts these idiots like no other...
I can already see how such a debate will go:
I don't understand X about evolution, you can't explain it that I can/want to understand it.
Therefor, creationism wins by default.
Indeed a waste of...
Additionally, im quite curious about this the red pill documentary after watching this talk...

But undecided is a noun.
Thank you for the clarification.
And i actually agree with the solution your gave, which is most in line with option C.
but i understand your rejection.
I am in agreement that rejecting gender roles, with the example giving, is indeed a good thing.
However, not...
Actually, i already stated that the criticism mentioned on the wiki page are valid points to be critical of the CTS.
Given that the Conflict Tactics Scale methodology can be a discussion on it's own, i think is deserves it's own thread, so that this discussion can remain on-topic.
The reason we...
This isn't about correct interpretation, this is about having all the facts.
If every domestic/partner violence expert is saying that it's equal for both genders for years now, why hasn't it become common knowledge?
A part of this is indeed media coverage and public perception, but there is more...

"World Leaders have committed to 17 Global Goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years"
Here is a list of the 17:
1 No poverty
2 Zero hunger
3 Good health and well-being
4 Quality education
5 Gender equality
6 Clean water and sanitation
7 Affordable...
That's not an answer, that's an excuse.
if you can/want address it at a later time, that is fine.
if you can't/don't want to, that is fine too.
citing other data, from shelters?
let's first state how to properly use citations, this seems to be decent representation...
I agree with that statement and also for the same reasons.
i'm sorry if i wasn't able to articulate it clearly.
The example you've given is a strange one. Why allow for a legal out for murder anyway? i'd say you've given an example where indeed it doesnt matter how we define transgender, we...
i'm not sure where you got that quote, but i think you are being mislead.
When searching for who Gelles was, this is the person we are talking about: Richard James Gelles.
here is an interesting fact:
This seems to contradict that quote you posted.
additionally...
after a quote google search to find out what the CTS entails, i don't see reason to be suspicious of it though i do see reasons to be critical of it.
and here is something that i find interesting about it:

a example of it, would spousal abuse.
given the numbers, it indicates that in general it happens equally to men and women.
True, some forms of abuse happen more often to one specific gender then the other, but overall it's relatively equal
Well, that's the problem with the trans issue. Is it...
That would actually be a very interesting experiment to do.
I prefer to do it on a global level, not for just the western world. with issues listed, I would also include "Gender neutral" something that are issues for both genders but there is no huge disparity.
I'd prefer the answer to your...
Let us grab the quote again
It does not state anything about it being a "Reflection of the overall state of things", that is something you have read into it yourself.
So, this is the standards we are dealing with;
A: SpecialFrog acknowledges that in some cases the social arrangements favor...
