I think it depends on your child's personality.
I doubt they'll be bullied much for believing in Santa, don't most people stop once they're told? but there's more than that out there to hurt a gullible child.
Which games sell for $50k? That game looks quite good but there's a lot of very similar looking games.
Those crappy online role-playing games look like easier money, they sell players victory (and smurfberries).

I think it would be easier, during a crisis people are usually willing to work together. It's not really anything new either, it's the normal thing to do, at least in some places.
