SIKULI: Programming (well, Macro-Writing) by Screenshot

MIT students (who else?) have built a Jython application called SIKULI, which essentially lets you program macros for applications in the simplest way possible: visually. It's available for Windows, OS X, and Linux, huzzah! http://sikuli.org/

If you were a Creationist what would be your best argument?

I'd probably use a strawman version of Occam's Razor. "You need complex explanations for everything, but I know that God did it. My version is simpler, therefore I win." Unfortunatly, peopel who use this argument fail miserabl;y at understanding what Occam's Razor is, what it is used for, and...

QDRAGON1337 (AND DPRJONES): PLEASE READ THIS

Actually, there have been many cases where international actions which break the law in only one country involved involve chagres in that country. for instance, piracy. The Pirate Bay in Sweden has been sued in the US by the RIAA.

QDRAGON1337 (AND DPRJONES): PLEASE READ THIS

Yes, but perhaps you missed the part of my OP where I mention a court case supporting two-party consent laws over one-party consent laws. That is, in a cal from a one-party state to a two-party state, the two-party laws take over. Anyway, this is irrelevant now. Casey never pressed legal action.

    Votebot Research: Who's In?

Votebots use multiple accounts to systematically rate/view/comment on a video. This can be combated by manually attempting to fix the stats, for instance by mass-rating.

I'm working on a semi-secret project from the League of Reason. PM me if you're interested, and good at drawing simple cartoon animals. If you're not good at animals, PM me anyway; I might have something else for you. Note that this is mostly because I suck at drawing and making drawings from...

    Black Holes and Tachyon radiation...

Yes, but it's more likely to occur closer to the event horizon than farther away. For instance, the accretion disk of a black hole can reach millions of degrees.

    Black Holes and Tachyon radiation...

All that has to happen is that one particle must fall into the blac hole and one must not. If the two particles formed outside the event horizon, one might be travelling directly at the event horizon and the other away from it.
