Roe v Wade

I am not sure what this means. If someone just gave me a baby out of no where I would of course do whatever I could to protect it and take care of it. I suspect you would do the same..
If i would be given a baby i would not know how to take care of the child(long term), but while in my care it would be under my fullest protection.

Who does the "deeming"? Who determines fit or unfit to have a child? You?
Strangely if you have a child the natural way no one its after you have the child that it can be taken away if something is wrong. But adoption is different you’ll need special classes and do all sort of stuff to get approved. But deeming someone fit to have a baby people have issues with.

Well that's meaningful thing to point out. Just off hand I would say adoption should be a thing where the community is involved and not an issue that should be regulated by the state.

But I think you would agree that no system here will ever be infailable. There are evil people in the world who will abuse children.

We are not good at predicting the future. You should admit that. Your not really sure whether or not it is a good thing to intentionally kill unborn children inside the womb. Im asking you to err on the side of preserving these innocent lives.

Greetings,

If you don't want abortion, you must support contraception.

The problem is that conservatives oppose both.

Kindest regards,

James

I must not support anything. Who the fuck do you think you are? My boss?

Why would the community be involved or state both are only involved when something goes wrong when you have a child the natural way. Community report issues to a government body that then does an investigation.

No system will ever be 100% like you say there people that exploit others, until this is solved we will have issues.

The future can be predicted but never accurately there is always errors, but knowing your past is altering the future. Your going in a territory that is quicksand. What if the child has genetic defects that being born will mean pain and suffering. What if the mother can bring it to term without sacrificing here own health. What if there so poor they cant provide for the child. There so many reasons why abortion is preferred because being born can be worse. Also you’ll need to take in account the health of the woman mentally and physically, but also the father for different reasons. Look at the resources you’ll need to care for one child.

In the end we have good rules for abortion like xx weeks and its the woman’s choice, it has to be like this.

Lol, that tickled me! However, LZ, I think what DG means by "must" is something like... if you desire to see less abortions it would make good sense for you to support contraception. Whilst readily available, readily accessible and affordable contraception won't eliminate every abortion, it should follow that they are greatly reduced, thusly going a long way towards your desired goal. Yah?
Cos people gonna be fuckin' with no intention of producing offspring whether you approve or not and that aint gonna change, so supporting contraception and all which that entails (availability, cost etc) would appear to make sense if your desire is to see less abortion happening.

Yes. Anyone who can think can come up with a million "what ifs" as an excuse to do or not to do anything.

Including you, presumably?
This is what I meant by the comment you reacted to with angryface. Which I can admit was slightly uncharitable of me, but you don't engage with the substantive comments, you just post inane non substantive filler material.

I guess this would make sense if I was trapped beneath the cultish paradigm of atheist doomsaying, where humans are likend (sp?) to a virus that needs to be controlled.

Well thats fair enough, but I think everyone else is being just as inane as I am, with a bit of doomsaying thrown here and there for good measure. How about lets just not kill unborn babies on purpose?
